We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Operations to lead a team supporting a Corporate Travel account. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership experience, extensive knowledge of Corporate Travel operations, and hands-on expertise using Cryptic/Native GDS commands. This role requires someone who can effectively manage a team, drive operational performance, and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for complex travel bookings and ticketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Corporate Travel specialists handling complex travel itineraries.
- Act as the team's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ticketing, fare rules, and complex travel requests.
- Monitor team performance and ensure all KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to team members.
- Conduct regular team meetings, conference calls, and performance reviews.
- Handle escalations and intervene on complex travel cases when necessary.
- Prepare operational dashboards, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive continuous process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of Team Management experience in a Corporate Travel environment.
- Recent or current experience supporting a Corporate Travel account is required.
- Strong hands-on experience using Cryptic/Native GDS commands (required).
- Experience handling complex travel itineraries and ticketing.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver operational results.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident facilitating meetings and leading conference calls.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and conflict resolution skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume travel operations environment.
