- Maintain and adhere to the company's purchasing policy, procedures, and ensure all purchases comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Develop and improve administrative processes to drive constant improvements, finding a better way to always do things without compromise on an on-going basis.
- Develop and drive category strategies that document end-to-end sourcing approaches, solutions development, supplier selection, cost performance, quality performance, etc. with clear implementation roadmaps.
- Engage & conduct business reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders on a regular basis with the aim of enhancing operations, cost efficiency, meeting and/or exceeding all contractual set service levels/agreement.
- Ability to interface independently with key stakeholders; serve as the procurement team's technology specialist who provides sound advice & recommendation to all user departments.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, integrity, respect, trust, sincerity, commitment to innovation, managing ambiguity, and time management abilities.
- Provide advice on all procurement related issues to all levels of internal employees and discuss detailed contractual issues on a wide and varied portfolio to ensure that contractual terms and obligations are fully understood and that both financial and supply risks are minimized.
- Facilitate and manage procurement processes, tendering, negotiation, contract award and contract management.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or relevant working experience/discipline.
- Above 3 years of relevant experience in IT applications, software, cloud services, and/or IT infrastructure procurement is highly desirable.
- Proficient in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & ERP systems, such as SAP Ariba.
- Driven with positive mentality, strong initiative, and a team player.
- Resilient, resourceful, and meticulous.
- Possess strong project management, communication, interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
- Solid knowledge of basic financial acumen, cost management, PR/PO process and contract management.
