Role Description The Assistant Manager Human Resources will support the HR Manager in overseeing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring that HR policies and practices are implemented consistently across the organization. This full-time, on-site role based in Biñan includes responsibilities such as assisting with recruitment and selection, onboarding, performance management processes, and employee relations activities. The role will help manage HR documentation, maintain employee records, and support compliance with labor laws, company policies, and relevant standards. The Assistant Manager Human Resources will also coordinate training and development initiatives, support organizational culture and engagement programs, and collaborate with leaders to address workforce planning and HR-related inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
  • Experience with HR administration such as maintaining employee records, preparing HR reports, handling timekeeping and attendance, and supporting payroll coordination.
  • Ability to interpret and apply labor laws, company policies, and compliance requirements, including experience with HR audits or standards-based management systems.
  • Solid communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills to work effectively with employees at all levels and support a positive work environment.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency with HR-related software and basic office applications (e.g., HRIS, spreadsheets, word processing, presentation tools).
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in an HR supervisory or specialist role, preferably in manufacturing or a similar industrial environment, is highly beneficial.
