The Assistant Manager, Gaming is responsible for overseesing CMS and software applications, provides technical support for in-game events and special activities, and manages IT projects related to gaming systems, including upgrades and new technology implementations with UAT and approvals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Administer and maintain the CMS and other software applications integral to gaming operations.
Assist in leading and mentoring the Gaming Application Support team.
Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of service and technical proficiency.
Manage and document incidents, including detailed root cause analysis and steps taken to resolve issues.
Communicate status updates to stakeholders and escalate critical issues as necessary.
Provide technical support for in-game events, tournaments, and other special activities.
Ensure smooth operation and address any technical issues that arise during events.
Plans and executes IT projects related to Gaming systems, such as system upgrades and new technology implementations including proper UAT and necessary approvals.
Collaborates with Gaming Operations to identify areas for improvement and additional requirements which is beneficial to company's success.
Ensure support activities meet established SLAs. Track performance against SLAs and take corrective action when necessary.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. May accept equivalent work experience or certifications in lieu of a degree.
Have a strong understanding of Gaming Operations.
Knowledgeable in any CMS and other gaming-specific applications.
