Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Philippine reporting standards, tax laws, and internal control policies.
- Supervise the preparation of financial statements, management reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Support treasury functions, including cash flow monitoring, funds management, and maintaining banking relationships.
- Ensure proper administration and reconciliation of all accounts, including intercompany transactions, accounts receivable/payable, and balance sheet schedules.
- Oversee tax management, VAT compliance, and statutory reporting, coordinating with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in strategic financial planning, cost control initiatives, and business improvement projects that support company objectives.
- Assist in developing and updating finance policies and procedures aligned with company standards and local regulations.
- Handle ad-hoc financial analyses, reporting, and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, Philippines).
- 6–8 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or assistant manager capacity in construction industry or concrete framework system
- Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Preferably with at least 3 years of audit experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with high integrity and professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP / Great Plains is a plus.
- Able to work under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
