About Arrowpoint

Arrowpoint is an Asia-focused multi-strategy hedge fund firm headquartered in Singapore, founded by former Millennium Management Asia co-CEO Jonathan Xiong. The fund launched in July 2024 with more than US$1 billion—one of the largest hedge fund launches in Asia's history—and has since grown rapidly, with assets rising toward $2 billion to $3 billion as more trading teams join the platform. Backed by prominent investors including Blackstone, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, and Temasek Holdings, we operate with portfolio managers across Singapore and Hong Kong, integrating diverse strategies such as Equities, Fixed Income, and Commodities.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking driven individuals to join our team and contribute to our mission.

About the Role

We are a dynamic and fast-growing multi-strategy hedge fund with global operations, currently expanding our Finance function. With a lean and collaborative team structure, we offer significant opportunities for personal and professional growth. The Assistant Finance Manager will manage core financial operations across the management companies and fund structures, handling invoices, payments, and staff claims, and coordinating with our external accountant, who handles booking. Beyond this, the AFM will also drive improvements to how our finance processes run — including automation and system efficiency using NetSuite.

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable managing external service providers while improving internal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting finance operations (AP/AR, expense tracking)
  • Review the work performed by the external accountant, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of monthly/quarterly management accounts and month-end closing
  • Maintain and optimize NetSuite as the firm's core accounting system, including managing workflows, reporting templates, and system configuration
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline finance processes, reducing manual work and improving data accuracy across systems
  • Support tax compliance matters, including GST, corporate income tax, and other statutory or regulatory filings in relevant jurisdictions
  • Support coordination of year-end audits for both the management company and funds, including preparation of schedules and liaison with internal and external auditors and tax advisors
  • Review documentation and records to ensure accuracy and audit-readiness across finance and compliance processes

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5-7 years experience in fund accounting, audit (Big 4 or mid-tier), fund administration, multi-PM platform hedge funds, or other relevant financial sector roles
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite required; able to manage system configuration, workflows, and reporting
  • Demonstrated experience driving process automation or system efficiency improvements in a finance function
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, fund accounting, and performance reporting
  • Comfortable managing and reviewing the work of external service providers (accountants, fund admins)
  • High proficiency with Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Strong integrity and ownership of duties

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to work in a high-performing, collaborative team at the heart of Asia's financial hub
  • Exposure to cutting-edge investment strategies and hands-on involvement in fund finance operations
  • Competitive remuneration and career growth in a rapidly expanding fund
  • Opportunity to work closely with leadership and take on increasing responsibility as the firm scales
