Ensures building, office, and clinic facilities are in compliance with regulatory safety and
security standards and good housekeeping; equipment in good running condition; fixtures and
furniture are well-maintained in all Maxicare branches; supervises Preventive Maintenance
and Repairs where required
Job Description
- Recommends and implements a comprehensive routine and preventive maintenance program for the building, office and clinic, including equipment.
- Supervises facility operations such as but not limited to repair and maintenance, housekeeping, security, space planning, renovation, utilities, and warehouse storage.
- Monitors and maintains records of all as built and other related plans, warranties and administers the enforcement thereof when appropriate.
- Ensures that security and safety requirements of the property are in place.
- Ensures that all fire and safety installations are operational and compliant according to safety standards.
- Prepares required periodic reports and submits to the Administration Head / FACILITY Head.
- Monitors and oversees fit-outs and renovations of units to ensure compliance of contractor to the fit-out guidelines.
- Ensures availability of 3rd party contractors to conduct major and / or repair in the building and facilities.
- Ensures that all costs of repairs are evaluated and prior approval by the clients or affiliates are secured before conducting the repairs.
- Ensures prompt response and collaboration for minor repairs in the building and facilities.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- SKILLS
- EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT MINIMUM educational level and background required by this POSITION: Graduate of any engineering course with or without a license. But preferably with a License for government processing of business permits and other related government documents.
- EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING PERIOD OF TIME OR LENGTH of related experience the CANDIDATE must acquire before being assigned to and perform the functions of this job, SATISFACTORILY under NORMAL supervision: Minimum 1-year experience in handling facility-related jobs. Hands-on experience on construction is a plus.
- SKILLS REQUIREMENT Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Planning, implementing and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities
