Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Assistant Manager (Operations) to oversee the day-to-day management of our ByteDance account. This role serves as the key liaison between client stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring operational excellence, financial discipline, service quality, and high client satisfaction across dining halls, pantry operations, and catering services.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, managing enquiries, feedback, service recovery, and relationship building.
  • Monitor operational performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring timely resolution of issues and follow-up actions.
  • Track labour, food, pantry, and operational costs, supporting budget management and financial reporting.
  • Lead and develop a team of Operations Executives, including manpower planning, coaching, performance management, and capability building.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, SOPs, quality standards, and operational governance requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including culinary, finance, procurement, HR, and support functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee special events, catering operations, and client programmes to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Analyse operational data, prepare performance dashboards, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive new service implementations, innovation projects, and operational excellence initiatives to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • WSQ Food Safety Level 3 certification is required; HACCP certification will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in F&B, catering, hospitality, workplace dining, or facilities operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Experience managing corporate catering operations, client accounts, or large-scale hospitality services is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards, operational excellence, budget management, KPI tracking, and service delivery.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyse operational data and prepare management reports.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Customer-centric, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
