Roles and Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager, you will:
Provide Australian tax and accounting advice and solutions to a diverse client portfolio, including:
- Small to medium-sized entities (SMEs)
- Family and privately owned businesses
- Trusts and partnerships
- Foreign subsidiaries
- Small listed entities
Further develop your technical expertise across services, including:
- Australian tax compliance
- Accounting compliance
- Business and tax advisory work for middle-market clients
Play a key role across the full scope of client engagements, including:
- Maintaining regular client contact
- Attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders
Expertise & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Strong technical knowledge and exposure to Australian taxation and accounting legislation and requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in a similar corporate or professional services environment
- CA or equivalent qualification (completed or in progress)
- A relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification
