Quick Rundown:

We are an innovative and expanding online bookkeeping and CFO firm looking for a remote Client Accounting Advisor to join our virtual team. In this role, you will work with

multiple clients, with a focus on advisory, client meetings, and helping business owners

understand and act on their financial data.

We provide accounting and advisory services to landscaping businesses.

What You'll Do:

• Meet with clients regularly to review financials, answer questions, and provide clear, actionable advisory insights.
• Help clients understand financial statements, job costing, cash flow, and overall performance to support informed decision-making.
• Identify accounting and operational bottlenecks (e.g., AR issues, workflow gaps, job costing errors) and guide clients toward solutions.
• Support client budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, onboarding, and high-level cleanup/catch-up work.
• Oversee and perform bookkeeping and accounting in QuickBooks, including reconciliations and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist with job costing, AP/AR, revenue recognition, and other controller/CFO-level support for assigned clients.
• Proactively address issues and ensure smooth communication between clients and our accounting team.
• Support and help train our staff on accounting best practices and client needs.
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to meet with clients in an advisory capacity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with QuickBooks.
• Minimum of 4 years experience working with multiple clients, and at least a Bachelor's in Accounting/Business preferred.
• Ability to learn new online software and comfortable using technology (video chat software, email, spreadsheets, apps, etc.).
• Enjoy the fast pace and personality of entrepreneurial business owners.
• Commitment to handling sensitive information with the utmost care and in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations
• Ability to work effectively within a team, helping to contribute to the overall success of the department and company
