JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Kitchen Manager supports the Kitchen Manager in delivering clean, safe, and consistently high-quality food.This role ensures proper and consistent execution of product specifications, reinforces grooming and hygiene standards, and guarantees that all kitchen team members are working according to their assigned stations.

Additionally, the Assistant Kitchen Manager plays a key role in monitoring equipment functionality, enforcing sanitation protocols, and assisting in staff supervision.This position is critical in upholding kitchen discipline, supporting food safety, and maintaining smooth daily operations in the absence or direction of the Kitchen Manager.

C. Product Quality and Specification Compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

oGraduate of a degree or vocational course in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field

oMinimum of two (2) years of experience in a kitchen team leader or supervisory, preferably in casual dining operations

oBasic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines

oFamiliarity with kitchen equipment, cooking procedures, and station responsibilities

oProficient in MS Excel and other kitchen management tools

o Strong sense of discipline, cleanliness, and accountability in kitchen operations
