Job Summary
Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in utilizing personnel and resources in the most economical way for the maintenance and general upkeep of the company premises, physical plant, and machineries.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accepts, processes, and delegates maintenance requests from various departments within the company
- Conducts cost-benefit analysis on various repair and maintenance options
- Helps to ensure that enough personnel are available to meet requirements
- Helps to ensure that proper training and orientation of production personnel is being conducted
- Monitors and conducts preventive maintenance of machineries in coordination with the Production Supervisor
- Coordinates with third-party repair services for specialized repairs
- Involved in pollution control and environmental concerns
- Involved in disaster preparedness, fire prevention, and safety programs for the entire company
- Helps to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications / Skills
- At least one year of working experience as a supervisor or assistant supervisor in a related field
- Preferably 24 years experience in mechanical and/or electrical repair and building maintenance
- Must possess excellent analytical skills
- Must possess qualities of a leader
- Good communication skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Willing to work Mondays to Saturdays, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and render overtime as needed
