Job Description

We are partnering with a reputable Shipowner seeking an experienced Assistant HR Manager to join their regional team. This role will support and drive HR initiatives across multiple countries within Southeast Asia and Oceania.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate regional HR operations and stakeholder engagement across multiple locations.
  • Manage HR data, workforce reporting, analytics, and organizational information to support business decisions.
  • Lead and support regional HR projects, talent management, learning and development initiatives.
  • Coordinate regional training programmes, talent development activities, and succession planning efforts.
  • Support compensation and benefits reviews, salary benchmarking, and reward-related initiatives.
  • Assist in performance management, employee relations, and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, governance standards, and local employment regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, and regional best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within a regional or multinational organization.
  • Strong experience in HR operations, reporting, analytics, and stakeholder management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
