Assistant Finishing Manager (Davao)

The Assistant Finishing Manager supports the Project Manager in coordinating, monitoring, and executing project activities to ensure timely, safe, and quality delivery of residential, parking, and common areas. This role assists in contractor supervision, documentation, reporting, and compliance monitoring. This role serves as a key support role in managing day-to-day project requirements while gaining exposure to higher-level project management responsibilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring progress of unit deliverables for residential, parking, and common areas.
• Support the preparation, verification, and submission of turnover documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants on day-to-day project activities.
• Track progress reports, cost updates, and scope changes for endorsement to the Project Manager.
• Prepare draft project reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for review and submission.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
• Assist in identifying risks/issues and escalate to the Project Manager for resolution.
• Perform assigned tasks and provide administrative and technical support for smooth project execution.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional License (Civil Engineer or Architect) is an advantage but not strictly required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction, engineering, or project supervision.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, and basic scheduling software.
• Ability to work under pressure and willingness to be mentored into higher project leadership roles.
