What You'll Do
- Drive timely month-end close and ensure accurate reporting
- Prepare and post journals (accruals, prepayments) and perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Reconcile financial statements with SAP trial balance and maintain account integrity
- Consolidate data for P&L reporting and analyze variances
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis and support reporting deadlines
- Contribute to process improvements and data transformation projects (e.g., Tableau)
- Collaborate with stakeholders and shared services teams
Key Criteria
- 3 to 6 years of experience in financial accounting or related roles
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, P&L, and balance sheet reconciliation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF) and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and build strong relationships in a cross-functional team
- Degree in Finance, Commerce, or Accountancy
- CPA and FMCG experience are a plus, but not required.
Work Setup
Work setup & hours may vary by location in accordance with local norms, practices & policies.
- Metro Manila (BGC): Australian hours (6:00/7:00am to 3:00/4:00pm PH Time) with hybrid setup (one day onsite, 4 days remote) after a 1-week onsite during orientation.
