Job SummaryThe Assistant Finance Manager supports the Finance Manager in overseeing the organization's financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective financial planning. This role plays a key part in budgeting, forecasting, audits, and day-to-day financial management.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis
- Help manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
- Assist in internal and external audits and provide required documentation
- Review financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Support financial planning, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives
- Coordinate with other departments regarding financial matters
- Supervise and guide junior finance or accounting staff as assigned
- Perform other finance-related duties as required by management
Qualifications and Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is an advantage
- 35 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
