Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Assistant Director of F&B to assist the Director of F&B in managing daily operations of food and beverage to ensure the provision of F&B quality, and service experience, innovating and demonstrating vision as required to position the hotel as an industry leader and achieve unique identities for each F&B outlet.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service at all times, providing friendly, yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating and waiting on all guests
- Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries that needs the attention and care by Food and Beverage Office in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily
- Ensure productivity levels are concurrently met and understands the need to prudently manage utility/payroll costs within stipulated budgetary requirements
- Ensure that all areas within responsibility operate in line with maximising profit while delivering on the excellence in product and service
- Observe and maintain daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the restaurant, public area and make recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed
General Requirements
- With minimum Banquet experience of at least 5 years
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industry
- Strong experience in food and beverage operations
- Ability to design creative and innovative promotions
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with the team
