Job Summary

The Assistant Compliance Officer / Associated Person supports the implementation of the company's compliance and regulatory programs by assisting in compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, policy development, licensing administration, audit coordination, and regulatory communications. The role helps ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards while fostering a culture of compliance and ethical business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of regulatory and compliance programs across the organization.
  • Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of compliance policies, manuals, and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable regulations, including SEC, BSP, AMLC, PDEx requirements, the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA), Corporate Governance standards, and the Securities Regulation Code.
  • Prepare, submit, and maintain regulatory reports, certifications, and compliance-related documentation.
  • Coordinate regulatory audits, examinations, and information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage regulatory filings, license renewals, registrations, and compliance records.
  • Serve as a liaison with regulators, auditors, Legal, Corporate Secretariat, and other business units on compliance matters.
  • Assist in conducting compliance assessments, gap analyses, and implementing regulatory updates and advisories.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Management, Accounting, or a related field
  • At least five (5) year of administrative, compliance, risk, audit, or related experience.
  • Experience in an Investment House, Securities Broker-Dealer, Banking, or Financial Services environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SEC, BSP, AMLC, and other applicable regulatory requirements is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Makati or Ortigas.
