Responsible for supporting merchandise management and procurement activities across various categories, includingFresh, Wellness & Nutrition, Pet, Paper & Disposables, Food, and Non-Food.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage local inventories and maintain items based on the directed weeks of supply set by the Buyer or Category Buyer.
IssuePurchase Orders (POs)accurately and on time.
Track orders to ensureon-time deliveryof items.
Coordinate with theBuyer/Category Buyerregarding vendor or SKU-related issues.
Maintainprofessional relationships with all vendorsand ensure timely communication.
Ensure allvendor claims and supportsare collected promptly.
Communicate withOperationsregarding items for return or pullout.
Managecost and price changesas directed by the Buyer or Category Buyer.
Monitormerchandise expiry datesto prevent losses and ensure freshness.
Coordinatepromotional activitiesand updates with the Operations team.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or any related field.
With at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the retail industry, handling multiple product categories.
Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other related business tools.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Demonstrates the ability to work well with cross-functional teams and maintain professional relationships.
Can perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Trustworthy, reliable, and committed to maintaining data and process integrity.
