THREE-MONTH CONTRACT
As an
Asst. Baker, you'll be responsible of the following:
- Assist in the preparation and baking of basic pastries, breads, and desserts under supervision.
- Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients accurately according to provided recipes and instructions.
- Help with simple decorating, assembling, and finishing of baked goods as directed.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures and immediately report issues to the supervising baker or chef.
- Perform basic kitchen tasks such as preparing ingredients, washing utensils, and organizing work areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards.
- Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and labeling ingredients correctly.
- Help minimize waste by handling ingredients carefully and following portion instructions.
- Support the kitchen team during peak production periods and seasonal projects.
- Set up and clean down workstations before and after shifts.
- Follow instructions from senior bakers, chefs, or supervisors and ask questions when unsure.
- Perform other basic kitchen duties as assigned by management.
