Assistant / Associate Professor (Computer Science)

Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, or related computing field

• Doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, or related computing field
• At least 1 year of tertiary-level teaching experience, or professional, or research experience directly relevant to computer science, IT, or computing in general
• Substantial scholarly contribution in one's field of specialization , evidenced by commissioned research projects and publications in reputable conferences or journals.
• Active participation in professional organizations.
• Must be a Filipino citizen.

Applicant should be capable of teaching three or more, of the following CS courses:

• procedural/object-oriented programming
• data structures and algorithms
• databases
• operating systems
• artificial intelligence
• web or mobile development
• software engineering
• human computer interactions

Job Description/Summary

Should be able to teach computing courses, such as programming, algorithms, software engineering, artificial intelligence

• Standard teaching load of 12 hours per week. The remaining work hours shall be devoted to class preparation, research, thesis advising, commitee work, consultancy, industry immersion, and other approved activities.
• Participates in the review and curriculum improvement of the undergraduate and graduate (MS and PhD) computer science program.
• Must be willing to teach classes on either, Manila or Laguna campus, or both.
• Faculty rank and salary are determined based on academic degree, teaching experience and research track record.
