Assistant Accounting Manager

Role Description The Assistant Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Taguig. This role supports the Accounting Manager in overseeing daily accounting operations, including the preparation and review of journal entries, monitoring of fixed assets, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The individual prepares and analyzes financial statements, assists in month-end and year-end closing activities, and helps maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The role also involves coordinating with internal departments, supporting audits, identifying process improvements, and providing guidance to accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Financial Statements and Finance, with the ability to interpret and present financial information clearly.
• Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and Fixed Assets management, including reconciliation and accurate record-keeping.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to review data, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA is required.
• Experience in accounting or finance, preferably in retail or a similar high-volume environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Taguig, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage deadlines.
