Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Associate to oversee operations and management of a large portfolio of multifamily properties across the U.S. This role focuses on executing business plans, maximizing asset value, and managing all aspects of the property life cycle post-development or acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute lease-up and stabilization strategies for new developments and renovations.
- Prepare and present quarterly asset management reports to senior executives.
- Analyze budgets, forecasts, and business plans for assigned assets.
- Implement value-add strategies (expense reduction, revenue optimization, capital improvements).
- Direct property managers and contractors on operations, leasing, and capital projects.
- Oversee large capital projects including unit and clubhouse renovations.
- Support debt financing, refinancing, and asset dispositions.
- Review monthly operating statements and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with owner, lender, and partner requirements.
- Monitor market trends and forecast impacts on asset performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of multifamily asset management or financial analysis experience.
- Strong experience managing renovations and property operations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills: familiarity with Yardi preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead supporting staff.
- Comfortable with moderate travel for site visits and due diligence.
