Job Description:
OSL Asset Admin
Reporting to the Manager Loss Prevention, the Asset Admin is responsible in assisting the Loss Prevention management team with recovery efforts and compliance in relation to asset recovery for all programs. Additionally, the Asset Management Specialist will be responsible for updating any documentation of the existing process, policy documents, workflows and identifying any potential process gaps for improvement.
What you're responsible for:
• Follow up each recovery plan for all programs
• Make sure that compliance is being followed in the process, follow the submitted recovery efforts
• Follow up with any noted departments to support the recovery efforts in relation to OSL Owned Equipment
• Maintain asset management registers for all OSL owned equipment
• Assist with Management lead periodic audits of OSL owned equipment to improve accuracy in reporting and tracking
• Review expense submissions (in relation to Loss investigations) to track and report alignment with our current expense policy
• Ad hoc projects or tasks in relation to reducing Loss
Required Skills:
• Minimum two years working in loss prevention or Asset Admin or with asset inventory and documentation
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize
• Good problem resolution, interpersonal skills are a plus in this team-based work environment
• MS Office proficiency is mandatory in all applications – Excel, Access, Word, PPT – etc.
• Retail Operations background with Sales and Loss Prevention experience in wireless/electronics retail would be an asset
