Job Description
CALCMENU Philippines is seeking passionate and results-oriented developers to join our web development team.
The developer will primarily design, develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise web applications and backend services using ASP.NET Core and MS SQL Server.
The developer will work closely with the Business Analyst, Quality Assurance, and Support teams to ensure that project deliverables are completed on time and according to requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team with developers and QA engineers to manage daily development tasks and deliverables
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using ASP.NET Core and MS SQL Server
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions
- Develop RESTful APIs and integration services
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications and database performance
- Develop software features based on functional and technical specifications
- Perform unit testing and participate in peer code reviews
- Coordinate with the Support team to resolve client-reported issues
- Participate in technical discussions, collaboration, and mentoring activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent from a reputable school
- 1–3 years relevant work experience
- Experience with ASP.NET Core
- Experience with MS SQL Server development
- Strong T-SQL programming skills including queries, stored procedures, and functions
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services
- Familiarity with database design and optimization
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Good English communication skills — spoken and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Resourceful, flexible, self-motivated, and a team player
- Willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig, Metro Manila
