Job Description

The Arts & Culture Program Development Associate Manager designs, develops, and implements Ayala Museum programs and activations under the Public Engagement and Partnerships Department. The role encompasses initiatives in Tours, Education, the Filipinas Heritage Library (FHL), and institutional projects aligned with the organization's mission to serve as an accessible gateway to heritage for individuals and communities. This position combines strategic thinking, research, and program design with strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder engagement. It also involves network building, performance monitoring, and the end-to-end high-quality execution of events and experiences.

Program Design and Development

  • Develop concepts, frameworks, and implementation plans that translate institutional goals into actionable programs, projects and activities. This includes, but not limited to, creating short to long-term roadmaps that are scalable and adaptable through initiatives that proactively target diverse audience segments, profiles, and community needs.
  • Conceptualizes and implements programs that promote a branded museum experience through program developments anchored on Ayala Museum and Filipinas Heritage Library (FHL) collections.
  • Promotes Ayala Museum and FHL advocacies in the form of educational activities such as lectures, webinars, workshops, and outreach.

Strategic Planning and Synthesis

  • Develop integrated strategies connecting programming, partnerships/network building, audience engagement, feedback mechanisms, benchmarking, trends, opportunities, gaps, risks, and emerging needs.
  • Provides support in strengthening linkages with organizations relevant to Ayala Museum and FHL programs, collections, locally and internationally.
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights from research, consultations, surveys, observations, and audience behavior in an organized and useable manner.

Program Coordination and Implementation

  • Networks and promotes the programs directly while also collaborates with the Communications team for the development and release of social media content and traditional media that includes graphic materials and other collaterals.
  • Handles email correspondence through the official Ayala Museum and FHL's email in relation audience programming
  • Engages the Arts and Culture Division (ACD) stakeholders in programs using the omnichannel strategy—online, onsite, and offsite.
  • Engages creative approaches to offer significant and enjoyable museum and library experiences
  • Plans, organizes, and facilitates lectures, forums, workshops, and other events like book talks/launches, concerts that supplement the Ayala Museum's exhibitions and/or promote its collections, in collaboration with the Public Engagement and Partnerships, Exhibitions and Collections, FHL units
  • Provides research, writing, and editorial assistance to Ayala Museum and FHL programs content, publications, and other projects.
  • Contributes articles to any Ayala Museum publication, where applicable, to inform the ACD public about arts and culture, and the museum programs.
  • End-to-end coordination of logistics, deliverables, cross-functional workflows, resources/budget, procurement, and communications.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing and External Relations (MER) unit in organizing requirements to meet fundraising targets.
  • Monitors progress and able to troubleshoot operational concerns.

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Oversees recording of the Ayala Museum's lectures, forums, and workshops for documentation and archiving; prepares post-event reports
  • Track program performance, audience feedback, and success indicators.
  • Collaborate with the MEAL team for program evaluation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Art Management, History, Anthropology, or any related field
  • At least four solid years of experience in program/events management, strategic planning, stakeholder building, and multi-stakeholder management within the same industry
  • Strong background and familiarity with cultural institutions
  • Highly adept in Project Management or Events Management
  • Willing to work in Makati City on a hybrid work setup (3x a week onsite; Tue-Sat at 10am-7pm work schedule)
  • Willing to work weekends, holidays, and late nights, as needed
