The Art Director will lead the art and multimedia direction of our campaigns. This role is perfect for someone who can move fluidly between conceptualization, hands-on production, team leadership, and cross-department collaboration.
He/she will be responsible for elevating the visual output of the agency, ensuring ideas are strategically grounded, creatively strong, and flawlessly executed across digital, on-ground, and traditional media platforms.
MAIN TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative Development & Conceptualization
- Lead visual ideation for campaigns, content series, key visuals, OOH, digital ads, video concepts, and brand storytelling.
- Translate strategic inputs and briefs into strong creative concepts that align with brand guidelines.
- Provide artistic direction throughout creative development, from initial sketches to final output.
Multimedia Art & Technical Execution
- Execute high-quality designs using industry-standard tools.
- Create illustrations, layouts, and multimedia assets for social, web, print, and video.
- Develop storyboards, shot lists, and visual treatments for video, animation, and motion graphics.
- Use AI creative tools efficiently, ethically, and strategically to streamline production without compromising originality.
Art Quality Oversight & Standards
- Own and uphold the visual quality standard produced by the artists.
- Review, critique, and provide guidance to ensure consistency, excellence, and adherence to creative direction.
- Establish and maintain visual standards, benchmarks, and best practices across projects.
- Ensure final deliverables meet both creative and technical quality expectations before client submission.
Production & Execution Management
- Oversee production workflow from conceptualization, storyboard development, and pre-prod to shoot and post-production.
- Attend and contribute to pre-production meetings (PPMs) and client/agency alignments.
- Provide creative oversight during actual shootsguiding composition, framing, art direction, and continuity.
- Work closely with producers, directors, and editors to ensure output adheres to the creative vision.
Trend & Cultural Immersion
- Stay updated on digital platform trends (Meta, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, etc.).
- Monitor innovations in OOH, event installations, experiential marketing, and brand activations.
- Apply relevant trends to enhance concepts while maintaining strategic focus.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work
- Partner seamlessly with CMG (Accounts), Business Development, Media & PR, CXG and Tech/Web teams.
- Provide creative input during cross-functional brainstorming and client presentations.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams to ensure timelines and expectations are met.
Presentation & Client-Facing Responsibilities
- Present ideas and visual directions in a structured, compelling manner.
- Build decks that demonstrate clear visual storytelling, rationale, and creative logic.
- Handle select pitch presentations alongside the Executive Creative Director.
Leadership, Mentoring & Team Development
- Guide junior/mid-level designers, multimedia artists, and editors.
- Conduct skills coaching, critiques, and creative alignment sessions.
- Help improve internal processes, templates, and creative workflow systems.
- Support planning of workload distribution and creative team growth.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as the internal expert, collaborating closely with other teams to ensure alignment across customer initiatives.
- Drive a high-performance culture through effective delegation, mentorship, and cross-functional coordination.
