Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for an Art Design Director / Design Head based in Makati. The Art Design Director will oversee and lead creative projects, providing art direction and managing graphic design initiatives. Responsibilities include developing design concepts, supervising graphic and render outputs, managing team workflows, ensuring quality and consistency in designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful visual projects.
Job Description
Team Leadership and Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications and budgets.
- Oversee and manage a team of designers, assigning tasks, setting project timelines, and ensuring all team members stay on schedule and meet deadlines.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results.
- Review and approve final designs, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency across all projects.
- Attendance in key meetings needed such as briefings, brainstorming sessions, oculars, pre prod, supplier meetings, post mortem, etc to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
Design and Development:
- Collaborate with the accounts and creative teams to conceptualize and precisely execute design ideas for all campaign requirements.
- Guide the creations of compelling and visually appealing visuals and renders for digital, print, on ground events and all project requirements.
- Creation of assets for on-ground events, such as but not limited to key visuals, logos, illustrations, key visuals, invites, flyers, art cards, animated materials, graphics, and posters, as needed.
- Creation of renders, mock-up and both 3D and flat layouts for campaign requirements, as needed. Monitor the creative concepts translated to 3D Rendered Designs and visuals assigned to all 3D graphic artists.
- Overall monitoring of accuracy in measurements of renders and positioning of final artworks in renders taking into account the customer journey and other setup in the event.
- Recommends materials to be used and best practices for execution and ensures precise and clear alignment with fabricator and other suppliers.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all visual content.
- Ensure accuracy of design in pre-production decks and all design information cascaded to third parties such as but not limited to clients and suppliers.
- Work with clients to understand their needs, present design ideas, and make revisions based on feedback.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the agency remains at the forefront of design innovation.

Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Art Direction and a creative vision for producing innovative designs
- Minimum 3 years in leading a design team
- Proficiency in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a solid understanding of visual storytelling
- In-depth knowledge and application of Typography in various design projects
- Proven ability in Project Management to lead creative projects from concept to completion
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent software
- Previous experience in events, branding, or PR-related industries is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
