Architecture Governance Head

Job Description:

The Architecture Governance Head will develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to maintain consistency, compliance, and optimal performance across the enterprise architecture. Alongside this, he/ shewill perform the following major functions: Application and Technology Portfolio Management, Deviation Management, Architecture Monitoring/ Reporting and Architecture Resiliency Management. He/ She will likewise be responsible for maintaining the Enterprise Architecture Repository, providing stakeholders the visibility across the bank's technology and infrastructure investments. The Architecture Governance Manager will also participate in group-wide architecture discussions to increase synergieswithin the Aboitiz Techglomerate as well as Unionbank subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance Framework and Policy Development:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive governance framework for enterprise architecture.

Oversee the Architecture Council responsible for the creation and implementation of common standards and architecture practices in the organization

Create and manage policies, procedures, and standards related to enterprise architecture.

Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Provide guidance and support to stakeholders in understanding and adhering to governance guidelines.

Application Portfolio Management

Continuously identify, assess, and rationalize the application and technology portfolio of the bank

Plan for the decommissioning of obsolete or non-strategic applications/ technologies

Identify opportunities to merge or replace redundant or underutilized applications

Identify opportunities to reduce application costs through consolidation, standardization, or migration

Assess and monitor the risks associated with obsolete applications/ technologies

Deviation Management:

Monitor and enforce consequences and/or remediations resulting from deviations such as, but not limited to, technical debts

Architecture Resiliency

Design and implement an Architecture Resiliency framework that can withstand disruptions and ensure that the bank continues to operate effectively in the face of failures or challenges

Oversee the Architecture Resiliency initiatives of the bank and monitor performance against defined resiliency measures
