Job Title:Architectural Draftsperson
Location: Ortigas, Pasig, PH
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PH Time (Hybrid | 3x Onsite, 2x WFH)
Position Summary
Support the coordination and production of high-quality architectural documentation for commercial resort facilities. The role prepares consolidated, buildable documentation packages and works closely with Project Architects, Graduates, Interior Design and Design Management to translate architectural concepts into accurate construction documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in producing architectural documentation for commercial facilities within resorts, generally valued from $1 million to $20 million.
- Prepare coordinated documentation for resident clubhouses, pool pavilions, sales suites and other community facilities.
- Translate architectural concepts, sketches and design information into accurate plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules and specifications.
- Interpret external consultant drawings and integrate relevant information into consolidated architectural documentation packages.
- Undertake architectural and interior documentation, technical detailing and 3D modelling using Revit.
- Support Project Architects, Graduates and Design Managers with the day-to-day documentation and delivery of assigned projects.
- Assist with project design programs, documentation schedules and the achievement of key milestones.
- Identify documentation inconsistencies, consultant clashes and coordination issues, and raise them promptly with senior team members.
- Apply relevant regulatory requirements, the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and Safety in Design principles to documentation.
- Maintain clear file structures, drawing registers, version control and document management practices.
- Implement documentation standards and contribute to improving quality, consistency and workflow efficiency.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with Architecture, Interior Design, Design Management, Construction and external consultants.
- Represent professionally in project meetings and stakeholder interactions when required.
- Identify and report documentation, coordination, program and compliance risks to senior team members.
- Undertake ongoing professional development and maintain current software and technical knowledge.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Drafting or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant architectural documentation experience, preferably across commercial, hospitality, hotels, public works or comparable complex buildings.
- Advanced architectural documentation, technical detailing and 3D modelling capability.
- High proficiency in Revit.
- Ability to accurately interpret plans, elevations, sections, design documents and consultant drawings.
- Strong experience incorporating multidisciplinary consultant information into coordinated architectural documentation.
- Working knowledge of the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, regulatory compliance and Safety in Design.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy and consistency.
