Architectural Designer

Role Overview
TheArchitectural Designerwill work closely with the Brisbane-based design studio to contribute to concept development, detailed documentation, and coordination of design packages usingRevit.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical drafting experience, excellent Revit skills, and a solid understanding of Australian building standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and document architectural designs usingRevitin line with Australian drafting standards.
- Prepare detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation for development applications and construction.
- Collaborate with the Principal and the Australian design team to align outputs with project requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants (structural, services, etc.) and integrate their inputs into Revit models.
- Participate in design reviews and QA checks to maintain studio quality standards.
- Manage revisions, maintain file version control, and ensure organized documentation.
- Contribute to design discussions, visual presentations, and concept development as needed.
- Maintain consistent communication with the team via online meetings and project management tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (or equivalent).
- Minimum5 years of experiencein architectural design and documentation ideally withAustralian clients or firms.
- Advanced proficiency inAutodesk Revit(required).
- Strong detailing and documentation skills with sound knowledge ofAustralian codes and standards (BCA/NCC).
- Proficiency in other design and visualization tools (e.g., Enscape, Lumion, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in Australian residential and commercial projects.
- Ability to take ownership of drawing sets from concept to documentation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Trello, or Asana.
- Strong design sensibility and attention to detail.
