Architectural Manager
- Office at: near Expo MRT
- Work both in the office and at project sites
- Mon to Fri, from 8.30am to 5.15pm
- Salary is up to $8,500
Job Role
An Architectural Manager oversees the entire architectural scope of projects, from design coordination and shop drawing approval to on-site execution, ensuring compliance with specifications and building regulations.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in architecture and design management, experience with A1 contractors is preferred.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM Navisworks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural planning and design phases for large-scale mega projects, ensuring innovative solutions that align with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the architectural project lifecycle, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, ensuring all project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Review and validate architectural designs, ensuring they are practical, sustainable, and in compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance protocols throughout the project, ensuring all architectural work meets the prescribed standards and complies with regulatory requirements.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and design staff, promoting professional development and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Collaborate with safety teams to implement comprehensive safety plans and ensure adherence to safety protocols on-site during all architectural activities.
- Other duties as assigned by the HOD - Engineering or Project Management Team.
