We are seeking an experienced
Architect with a strong background in
signage and wayfinding design for large-scale commercial projects. The ideal candidate has at least
5 years of architectural experience, is an
advanced Revit user, and has successfully delivered comprehensive signage and wayfinding packages for commercial, mixed-use, retail, hospitality, healthcare, or institutional developments.
This role requires exceptional technical drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to produce accurate, high-quality documentation from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed architectural drawings and documentation for signage and wayfinding systems using Revit.
- Create signage families, plans, elevations, schedules, and construction details.
- Coordinate signage and wayfinding packages with architectural, interior design, and engineering disciplines.
- Interpret design intent and translate concepts into accurate technical documentation.
- Ensure all signage documentation complies with project standards, accessibility requirements, and client specifications.
- Review project drawings for accuracy, constructability, and consistency.
- Participate in project coordination meetings and resolve design and documentation issues.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to established quality assurance standards.
- Support multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional architectural experience.
- Extensive experience working on signage and wayfinding projects for large commercial developments.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (required).
- Strong understanding of architectural documentation, detailing, and construction drawings.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- Experience with retail, mixed-use, healthcare, hospitality, airport, university, or corporate campus wayfinding projects.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with international design firms or remote project teams.
- Knowledge of ADA, accessibility, and signage industry standards is an advantage.
