Architect

Key Responsibilities

1. Gathers information through site inspection, mall coordination meetings and leasing kits, researches, and information on design requirements and prepares architectural and civil works designs, specifications and scope of works cost estimates and timetables for each project assigned to him.

2. Drafts plans on architectural and engineering works based on designs, specifications, scope of works following design requirements, established standards and mall construction guidelines.

3. Takes off quantities and prepares bill of materials, estimates labor costs and prepares overall project cost estimates, estimating guidelines and standards, and prepares bid forms, invitations to bid and other bid documents.

4. Attends pre-bid conferences and explains design details to contractors; attends bidding sessions to analyze and verify bids on architectural and civil works, and attends pre-award conference to clarify requirements to contractors.

5. Conducts research on materials and new developments and their applicability for projects

Qualifications and Experience

1. Graduate of Architecture, preferably licensed.

2. At least (3) years experience in design, development and project supervision of development works for building interiors, spaces and fixtures for retail commercial establishments. Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Sktechup and 3D rendering programs; preparation of material take-off, cost estimates and technical reports

3. Physically fit for Office and Construction job site work environment.

4. Computer Literate, particularly in CAD, Sketch-up, 3D Rendering, Design and Estimate, Agile Project Management, Vendor management, Highly analytical and good communication skills
