Role Overview

The Architect will support the delivery of global workplace projects through BIM-enabled design development, coordination, and technical support. This role is ideal for early-career architects looking to build strong foundations in workplace design, BIM, and integrated project delivery within a global Design & Build environment.

The role bridges design intent and execution, working closely with Project Architects, Engineers, and global teams across North America and other global offices.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Support

• Support spatial planning, layout development, & interior design packages for workplace projects.
• Assist in preparing drawings, schedules, and 3D models in Revit and SketchUp.
• Translate design inputs into coordinated BIM models under guidance from senior team members.

BIM & Coordination

• Assist in model integration, clash detection, and issue tracking using tools like Forma (formerly known as ACC), Trimble Connect, and Bluebeam.
• Support coordination with MEP & other disciplines to ensure design consistency and buildability.
• Maintain model accuracy and data hygiene as per project standards.

Documentation, Deliverables & Reporting

• Support preparation of drawing sets, presentations, and project deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (North America) through accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with in-market teams to address technical challenges during project phases.
• Assist in responding to coordination comments and design queries.
• Support the use of AI tools (e.g. documentation, and workflow support) to enhance design and technical workflows.

Training & Mentorship

• Mentor junior team members on BIM workflows, technical design, and industry best practices.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance team proficiency in Revit, Sketchup/Design and technical detailing.
• Stay updated on advancements in BIM technology, sustainability practices, and construction methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture

Experience:

• 5-6 years of professional experience in architecture or interior projects.
• Proven track record of delivering workplace/corporate interior projects.
• Experience working on global projects, particularly in North America is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in tools like Autodesk Revit & SketchUp is essential. Experience with visualization using Enscape is a plus.
• Extensive experience of tools like Forma (formerly known as ACC). Working knowledge with Trimble Connect & Navisworks for clash coordination is a plus.
• Expertise in technical drawings & construction documentation for interior project across North America is preferred.
• Strong understanding of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and IFC standards for interoperability.
• Exposure to or willingness to explore AI tools for design & BIM workflow support is an advantage.
