Join Aprio PH Human Resources team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio, LLP is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join their dynamic team.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing support in various HR functions, including onboarding, employee recordkeeping, onboarding plans, employee certifications and continuing education, and offboarding. The HR Generalist serves as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures, as well as local labor laws.

The Human Resources Generalist plays a vital role in supporting the HR function and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. This position requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the firm worldwide.

Position Responsibilities

  • Supports new hire orientation activities for Philippines and the United States.
  • Delivers new hire orientation virtually and in person as requested.
  • Reviews pre-onboarding paperwork of candidates for errors and completeness.
  • Holds 1:1 meetings and focus groups with new employees during the first 90 days of employment.
  • Collaborates proactively with Recruiting, HRBPs, L&D, and hiring managers to create custom 90-day onboarding plans for new employees.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date candidate and employee records in the HRIS and LMS.
  • Supports exit processes for departing employees.

Qualifications

  • College graduate with degree in Human Resources, Business, or any related field.
  • Fresh graduates or with 1-2 years of experience as HR generalist are welcome to apply.
  • Experience working in HR for accounting or professional services firms.
  • Experience delivering new hire orientation in person and with Microsoft Teams.
  • Quickly learn software applications, processes, and procedures.
  • Recommends practical improvements to supervisor.
  • Works independently with general supervision.
  • Handles employee information confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and delivers high-quality work on time with little rework.
  • Handles difficult, but not complex, problems independently.
  • Addresses and resolves employee queries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
