Appointment Setter (Outbound Tele-Calling) - Freight Forwarding

RRA Group Inc. is an FMC-Registered NVOCC and IATA Cargo Agent (Surrey, BC), moving ocean, air, and cross-border freight for importers and exporters across Canada and the US since 2013. We are a growing, fully remote team on North American hours, and we promote from within.

About the role

We are hiring Appointment Setters to power our outbound sales engine. Your job: work our CRM list of importers and exporters, call, get past the brush-off, qualify the opportunity, and book a qualified meeting for our sales closers. You open the doors; our closers walk through them. This is not a closing role and it is not a dead end. Our ladder is Appointment Setter to Sales Representative to Business Development.

What you will do:

Make a high volume of outbound calls each day to a targeted CRM list (Pipedrive).

Handle gatekeepers and objections such as we already have a forwarder or just email me.

Qualify the opportunity: shipper vs. non-shipper, trade lanes, rough volumes, and who makes the decision.

Book qualified meetings into the closers calendars and log every call and next step.

Hit daily dial and weekly qualified-appointment targets.

What we are looking for:

Strong, confident phone presence and excellent spoken English with North American businesses.

Genuinely good at handling objections; persistent without being pushy.

Resilient and consistent with high-volume outbound calling.

Organized and CRM-disciplined.

Able to work North American Pacific Time business hours, fully remote with reliable internet and a quiet calling space.

A booked-meetings mindset: your win is a qualified appointment, not a closed deal.

Nice to have:

Outbound, SDR, BDR, or tele-sales experience; freight or logistics exposure; Pipedrive familiarity.
