- Engage prospects naturally, professionally, and empathetically.
- Follow the client's approved script and qualification process while maintaining genuine conversations.
- Identify prospects basic needs and determine whether they meet the appointment criteria.
- Provide high-level information about mortgage protection coverage without giving advice beyond the role's scope.
- Schedule qualified appointments directly on the assigned licensed agent's calendar.
- Confirm appointments and conduct timely follow-ups to improve attendance rates.
- Re-engage previously contacted leads who have not yet scheduled an appointment.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups with interested prospects.
- Accurately update lead statuses, dispositions, notes, follow-up activities, and appointment outcomes in the CRM.
- Track daily and weekly outreach, appointment-setting, and follow-up activities.
- Consistently work toward established appointment-setting and show-rate KPIs.
- Communicate common objections, lead feedback, and campaign observations to the client or Account Manager.
- Maintain reliable attendance and consistent productivity throughout the assigned schedule.
Candidate Requirements
- At least two years of experience in appointment setting, cold calling, sales development, outbound sales, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated success in meeting appointment-setting and activity KPIs.
- Proven ability to generate qualified appointments and maintain strong appointment show rates.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong phone presence and the ability to communicate naturally rather than simply reading from a script.
- Empathetic and consultative communication style, especially when discussing sensitive financial or family-protection topics.
- Strong objection-handling and follow-up skills.
- Experience using a CRM to manage leads, dispositions, notes, and follow-up activities.
- Comfortable using phone calls and SMS messaging for prospect outreach.

- Appointment show rate
- Timely completion of follow-ups
- Lead qualification accuracy
- CRM accuracy and completeness
- Call quality and professionalism

Specific numerical KPIs may be finalized with the client based on lead volume, lead quality, contact rates, historical campaign performance, and existing appointment-setting and show-rate benchmarks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
