Job Overview

We are seeking a driven and resilient Appointment Setter to generate qualified appointments for our insurance sales team through outbound calling. In this role, you will engage with auto and life insurance leads, overcome objections, and secure committed appointments while maintaining accurate CRM records. This position is ideal for a motivated communicator who thrives in a high-volume sales environment and enjoys contributing directly to business growth through lead generation and pipeline development. Incentives are included based on performance.

Job Highlights

Schedule: Monday-Friday (any combination of hours between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. pacific time)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to internet-generated auto and life insurance leads to generate interest and qualify prospects
  • Gather basic prospect information including name, address, and vehicle details to prepare leads for the in-office sales team
  • Overcome objections and hesitations to secure strong, committed appointments with qualified prospects
  • Perform warm transfers or book confirmed meetings in the sales team's calendar to ensure efficient lead handoff
  • Maintain accurate records of call outcomes and lead status within the agency's CRM system
  • Follow up with prospects who expressed initial interest to re-engage and convert them into booked appointments

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or appointment setting
  • Strong English communication skills and excellent comprehension
  • Background in insurance or financial services preferred
  • High level of persistence and resilience in a fast-paced, rejection-heavy calling environment
  • Ability to work independently and maintain consistent energy throughout high call volume days
  • Strong attention to detail when capturing and relaying prospect information
