Applications Engineer

We are seeking a customer-focused Application Engineer to support AC/DC and DC/DC power supply solutions for North American customers and distributor partners. Based in the Philippines, this role will work US business hours and serve as a key technical interface between distributors, customers, internal teams, and suppliers in Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely technical support and respond to enquiries from North American distributor sales teams and customers
• Deliver product training to distributors and channel partners
• Recommend and support design-in of power supply solutions based on customer requirements
• Perform basic electrical testing and validation for customer-specific applications (as needed)
• Troubleshoot application issues related to integration, EMI/EMC, and thermal performance
• Act as primary or secondary technical contact with suppliers in Asia supporting North American business
• Coordinate with North America Applications Engineering to resolve technical questions and customer concerns
• Document technical details of customer engagements and customized solutions in the company CRM system
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or related field
• 5 years of experience in power electronics or power supply applications
• Strong understanding of AC/DC and DC/DC conversion fundamentals
• Experience supporting customers or distributor sales teams in a technical role
• Hands-on electrical test capability (oscilloscope, DMM, electronic loads, etc.) is a strong plus
• Familiarity with digital communication protocols (e.g., PMBus, I²C) is a plus
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), including ability to deliver training
• Comfortable working US hours and collaborating across time zones
