Job Description

Functional Responsibilities

Monitoring & Maintenance

  • Monitor job executions performance 24x7
  • Ensure scheduled jobs run successfully and meet SLAs
  • Identify and resolve job failures or performance issues

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution

  • Investigate data quality issues and transformation errors
  • Debug failed processes and data loads
  • Analyze logs and error messages to identify root causes
  • Coordinate with development teams for complex issues

Data Management

  • Validate data accuracy and completeness after loads
  • Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems
  • Support data refresh and reload activities
  • Operational Support
  • Execute ad-hoc data extracts and reports
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., cleanup, optimization)
  • Support production deployments and releases
  • Maintain documentation (KB) for processes and procedures

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work with business users to understand data requirements
  • Coordinate with different technical and business teams
  • Provide status updates on incidents and issues

Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor system resource utilization
  • Assist in tuning jobs for better performance
  • Track and report on key metrics and KPIs
