Job Description

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

JD for GKE Technical Skills: Cloud Expertise: Extensive knowledge of cloud, preferably GCP, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, and other GCP services. GKE / Kubernetes: Proficient in managing Kubernetes (GKE or other cloud solution like EKS) clusters, deploying applications, and troubleshooting Kubernetes-related issues. Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and other containerization technologies. Container Orchestration: Expertise in managing container orchestration using Kubernetes. Networking: Strong skills in cloud networking, including configuring virtual networks, managing interconnectivity, and optimizing network performance. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with infrastructure as code concepts and tools, particularly Terraform, for automating infrastructure deployment and management. CI/CD: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Google Cloud Build. Version Control: Proficient with Git and GitHub. Scripting and Programming: Skilled in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Groovy for automation and problem-solving. Operating Systems: Strong understanding of Linux and other operating systems. Monitoring and Logging: Ability to implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, and Cloud Logging. Security: Knowledge of security best practices for cloud and Kubernetes environments, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security, and data protection. Database Skills: Experience with database configuration and maintenance. Ability to understand SQL queries. Service Mesh: Experience implementing service mesh infrastructure on Kubernetes using tools like Istio. Configuration Management: Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Chef and Ansible. Data Pipelines: Familiarity with deploying data pipelines using Terraform. Experience: Kubernetes Experience: 3+ years of experience managing and maintaining Kubernetes (GKE or other cloud provider equivalent like EKS) clusters, including deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization. Troubleshooting Experience: 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues. Support Experience: Familiarity with support methodologies, case lifecycles, and analytical skills for breaking down issues. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
