Job Description: WebLogic Administration Specialist Role Description: We are seeking a WebLogic Administration Specialist to manage and support Oracle WebLogic middleware environments, ensuring platform stability, performance, security, and availability. This role is responsible for administering middleware infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues, supporting application deployments, and driving continuous improvements through automation and best practices. The Specialist will collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver reliable and scalable middleware services. Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Oracle WebLogic environments (12c/14c). Monitor middleware systems and proactively address performance, availability, and capacity concerns. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve middleware-related incidents and production issues. Support application deployment, configuration, and release management activities. Perform middleware patching, upgrades, and environment maintenance. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to implement system improvements and ensure compliance with organizational standards. Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. Participate in 24x7 production support and on-call rotations as required. Conduct system performance tuning, capacity planning, and health assessments. Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans. Support backup and recovery processes to ensure business continuity. Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members when needed. Skills & Qualifications: Primary Skill: Strong experience in Oracle WebLogic Administration (12c/14c), including installation, configuration, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Secondary Skills: Proficiency in Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting. Experience with middleware automation and operational scripting. Knowledge of WebLogic security, patch management, and disaster recovery processes. Experience in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis. Familiarity with ITIL-based service management processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
