Brief Job Description
The role is responsible to support the company's official website implementations, working on maintaining, developing and improving Vertiv's technology systems like Customer Portal, Consultant Corner, other Marketing sites, by designing, coding and modifying these websites and portals. The postholder will have a key role and will undertake the continuous enhancement of Vertiv's official site, portals and tools as well as configurators to ensure that portals will remain cutting-edge. Technical support will be given also for different campaigns or activities run to hit the targets.
Essential Job Functions
- Has hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as C# ASP .Net MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
- Has functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc)
- Support the Global Channel programs by designing, coding and modifying our existing portals and ensure these are cutting-edge
- Offer support to extended channel team by fixing issues within core templates or debugging
- Constant communication with colleagues and stakeholders, both internal and in conjunction with external specialist vendors.
- Regular exposure to business stakeholders, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.
- Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
Qualifications
Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written English language communications skills able to present thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely to a senior audience
- 2-3 years of experience on developing within a .Net web CMS, ideally EPiServer. Preference will be given towards individuals already possessing, or working towards the professional accreditation EPiServer Certified Developer
- Essential technical skills required (at least knowlegeable):
ASP .NET MVC using C# - (Intermediate)
- Net Framework - (Intermediate to Advanced)
Data Architecture and SQL Development - (Intermediate)
JavaScript - (Intermediate to Advanced)
JQuery - (Intermediate to Advanced)
HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3 - (Intermediate to Advanced)
Web User Interface Design (UI) - (Intermediate to Advanced)
Security Principles (Knowledgeable)
Object-Oriented Design - (Intermediate to Advanced)
Web Services (REST/SOAP) - (Knowledgeable)
APIs - (Knowledgeable)
- Advantageous technical skills required:
EPiServer Implementation and Development- (Knowledgeable to Intermediate)
Mobile Development - (Knowledgeable to Intermediate)
