Role Overview

This role focuses on Java/J2EE application development with strong exposure to RESTful web services and microservices architecture, supporting financial services systems for a US-based client.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Java / J2EE application development
• Web Services: REST & SOAP
• JAX-RS
• REST Frameworks:
• Spring Boot (preferred)
• Jersey / RestEasy
• Apache Kafka (solid hands-on experience required)
• HTTP Protocol
• Security: OAuth
• Version Control: Git or RTC
• SQL / MySQL

Good-to-Have Skills

• Microservices architecture concepts
• Design Patterns
• Clean Code principles
