About the Role

As a General Manager at CBRE, you will serve as the senior leader responsible for the overall performance of a strategic client account. You will oversee the delivery of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) and Workplace Experience services, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, client satisfaction, and employee engagement across the account.

This role requires a highly capable leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution, build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, and inspire high-performing teams. You will drive business outcomes by integrating facilities management expertise, workplace experience principles, and hospitality-led service delivery to create an exceptional client, employee, and guest experience.

This job is part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of operational leadership, workplace experience delivery, financial management, and client relationship management across a complex account environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the overall delivery of Facilities Management, Workplace Experience, Engineering, and related workplace services across the account.
  • Serve as the primary executive point of contact for client leadership and key stakeholders, building strong strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and execute account strategies that align with client objectives and CBRE business priorities.
  • Own account financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and profitability targets.
  • Establish, monitor, and drive key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee third-party vendors and service partners, ensuring performance meets contractual obligations and operational standards.
  • Lead workplace, hospitality, guest services, and employee experience programs that elevate service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Drive compliance with health, safety, security, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead business continuity, risk management, emergency preparedness, and governance programs.
  • Develop, coach, and inspire multifunctional teams while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and service excellence.
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, change management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, operational efficiency, and value creation for both the client and CBRE.

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience within Facilities Management, Workplace Experience, Corporate Real Estate, Hospitality, or Integrated Facilities Management environments.
  • Hospitality background is mandatory, with demonstrated experience delivering premium customer, employee, guest, or workplace experience programs and leading service-oriented operations.
  • Regional exposure is mandatory, with proven experience leading or supporting operations across multiple countries and managing geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong background managing both Facilities Management and Workplace Experience services.
  • Proven experience leading large, multifunctional teams and developing people leaders.
  • Demonstrated financial management experience, including budget ownership, forecasting, and P&L accountability.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement.
  • Proven ability to build high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience driving operational excellence, business growth, and service innovation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, influencing, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience managing complex, high-profile corporate accounts with responsibility for operational delivery and strategic business outcomes.
