AP Accountant - Reliever

This position will perform accounting functions that are related to efficient maintenance, processing, and settlement of accounts payable.

About the job:

• Performs day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions by matching suppliers invoices, deliveries, and purchase requests- 3-way match
• Verifies the validity and accuracy of each transaction and resolves noted discrepancies. Ensure completeness of required invoice attachments
• Prepares data entry in the accounting system-SAP
• Monitors outstanding accounts to ensure on-time payment to suppliers and other contractors.
• Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
• Prepares and analyzes the monthly aging of Accounts Payable. Reconciles payable balances with suppliers Statement of Accounts
• Recommends and implements improvements to owned processes
• Creates the informational data needed in the analysis of Purchase journals
  

About you:

• A graduate of BS Accountancy or any related course
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing organization
• Knowledge in accepted accounting practices and principles applicable laws regulations & statutory requirements
• Has attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge and understanding of the SAP Module
• Good communication skills
• Computer know-how
