Role Overview
We are looking for an Android Developer to build high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile applications for a banking environment. The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to performance, and the ability to deliver under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate user stories into functional mobile applications
- Design and develop rich, user-centric interfaces aligned with product goals
- Collaborate with designers and engineers (web and mobile) to deliver engaging UI/UX
- Produce high-quality code within aggressive timelines
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and implement effective solutions
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Conduct unit testing to ensure code performs as designed
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in Android development using Java and Kotlin
- Proven experience building high-performance, scalable mobile applications with rich UI
- Strong knowledge of Android OS, UI components, SDK, and Android Studio
- Understanding of mobile performance, latency, and security principles
- Experience with performance optimization and analysis tools
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Firebase, Fastlane, CI/CD tools
- Strong knowledge of APIs and integration technologies (REST, JSON, XML, microservices)
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Self-starter with a continuous learning mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in backend or web application development
- Experience with advanced UI concepts
- Exposure to Cloud Native Infrastructure, DevSecOps, and Microservices Architecture
