The Role
We are looking for highly skilled Kotlin Developers to join our client's development team. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in Kotlin development and a strong background in building high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend or Android applications using Kotlin.
- Build clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations with third-party systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
- Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship or technical guidance to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in sprint planning, architecture discussions, and solution design sessions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing applications using Kotlin.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming principles.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Ktor, or other Kotlin-based frameworks.
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and JSON/XML data structures.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Git, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong debugging, testing, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
