About the Role
This role will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for our Power Applications, while also contributing to the UI/UX design of our MAXIS web application EDO's self-service product. This product designer will put emphasis on creating experiences tailored for non-technical users, ensuring that our applications are accessible, easy to navigate, and deliver seamless interactions between different assets. This role also will occasionally be creating graphic designs and highlight-videos showcasing different features of the application that will be used during production demo to the business users and during product roadshows.
How you'll contribute
- Design and refine user interfaces for Power Applications with a focus on usability and simplicity.
- Collaborate on the UI/UX design with the stakeholders, ensuring consistency and user-centered design principles.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to understand the needs of non-technical users.
- Translate workflows into clear, intuitive, and engaging user experiences.
- Work closely with product developers, product managers, and stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals.
- Maintain design standards, style guides, and best practices across applications.
What we're looking for
- Years of Work Experience: 1 - 4 Years
- Educational Attainment: Bachelor's Degree
- Required course: Multimedia Arts
- Strong understanding in UI/UX principles (usability, accessibility, responsive designs).
- Proficiency with design tools such as but not limited to Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Canva or any other similar design tools
- Knowledge of information architecture and design systems
- Understands color theory, typography, and layout for digital interfaces
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for web applications
- Experience in designing interactive components and user flows
- Competence in building and maintaining style guides and reusable UI components
- Collaboration with developers to ensure design-to-code accuracy
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis
- Translate insights into actionable design improvements
- Strong attention to detail in identifying design inconsistencies
- Ability to solve design challenges creatively while balancing user needs and business goals
- Clear presentation of design concepts to stakeholders
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, stakeholders)
- Strong documentation and communication skills for design rationale
- Adaptability to feedback and iterative design processes
- Ability to design engaging digital materials for roadshows (posters, infographics)
- Experience in video editing which will be used during product preview and product demonstrations
